When it comes to après in Whistler, there are some pretty legendary options. But if you’d rather escape the loud music and shotskis, there are a number of ways to après differently, too.
We asked colleagues at Nita to offer up their favourite ways to relax after a day on the mountain. Without further ado, here are our 5 Alternative Ways To Après In Whistler:
Namaste – Yogacara

Yogacara is open and leading practice at a reduced capacity in a clean, safe environment. Sessions may be reserved online here. If you prefer, they also offer online yoga via Zoom as well as an online video library for on-demand practice. Masks are required (except on your mat) and mats are unfortunately not provided at this time.
Indulge at The Champagne Nail Bar

Newly opened at The Spa At Nita Lake Lodge, The Champagne Nail Bar is a Whistler first! This one-of-a-kind spa experience is now available in Whistler Creekside and makes the PERFECT alternative après In Whistler. Nita Lake Lodge has teamed with Moët et Chandon to add a bit of sparkle to your spa treatment, with prices starting at $120 for a Champagne Manicure.
Family Fun at Vallea Lumina

Perfect for the whole family, Vallea Lumina takes you on a magical walk through the enchanted forests of Cougar Mountain. ‘Between the trees, in the shadow of mountains, legends say there’s a hidden valley where stardust falls from the sky, filling all living things with its pure light.’ Lights, lasers, and holograms guide your way as the story of two long-lost hikers unfolds. This is an experience unlike any other.
Après Differently In Whistler: Quiet Time at Scandinave Spa

For some serious quiet time, enjoy a soak in the hot and cold pools of Scandinave Spa. This popular sanctuary is adults-only and located just north of Whistler. Bath admission is $100 in peak season with massages starting from $200. We’d recommend Scandinave Spa – but be sure to go later in the day when there are fewer bathers around!
Cultural – First Nations Winter Feast

‘Join the Squamish Lil’Wat Cultural Centre after hours for a culinary journey that blends traditional ingredients and food preparation with modern plates while Nation members in regalia share songs and stories from their journey along the Pow Wow circuit.’ The First Nations Winter Feast is $75 per adult and $37.50 for children. Children aged 5 and under eat for free.
