Looking for the best burger in Whistler? It’s just so damn hard to choose! So we’ve narrowed our faves down to a top 5. Whether you’re after an elevated patio dining experience or a cheap and cheerful lunch with friends, there’s something for everyone here.
Cure Lounge & Patio
The Cure Burger is made up of fresh In-house ground AAA Beef Chuck with apple smoked cheddar, lettuce, tomato, pickle mayo and onion ring. It’s on the menu for $21, however visit Cure Lounge & Patio on a Wednesday to get yourself the exact same burger for $15! Plus happy hour pricing on beers and wines. We’d say it’s the best burger in Whistler thanks to the gorgeous patio and stunning lake views!
The self-proclaimed “#1 Burger In Whistler”, Splitz Grill is a favourite for late-night revellers in particular. Their Legendary Stacker features a double beef patty, bacon and double cheese as well as their famous Splitz Sauce and onion ring topper. It’s an absolute bargain at $16 and makes the cut to potentially be the best burger in Whistler for good reason! For something a little different, try the Hawaiian Burger – it comes with a Teriyaki-glazed pineapple!
The Mallard Lounge
For something fancier (and absolutely worth the premium) head to the Mallard Lounge where you can tuck into a Blackcomb Mountain Burger. Mouth-watering, double-stacked Hanceville grass-fed Beef Patties are complemented with aged white cheddar, bacon and all the trimmings for $26. We’d recommend planning your trip on a sunny day to make the most of The Mallard’s awesome patio.
Grill & Vine
Oh man, we love Grill & Vine’s burger. We’re not sure if it’s the Certified Angus Beef or the delicious pretzel bun, but something keeps us coming back for more. In fact, their selection of sandwich items is pretty awesome. Other stand-out favourites of ours include the Beef Shortrib Grilled Cheese and the Seared Steelhead Sandwich.
Brickworks Public House
A great spot for a catch-up with friends, Brickworks is home to some mega beers and some mega burgers, too! There are SEVEN totally different options on their burger menu including Wild Boar, Elk, and Veggie. Our go-to is the Lamb Burger because we love the Smoked Tomato Ragout (For us, it’s the best burger in Whistler in the non-beef category, for sure!). Burger prices start from $15 with fries but we’d absolutely recommend subbing the Poutine for an extra $5.
