With warmer weather here, we set out on a mission to discover some of the best patios in Whistler. However, to tell you the truth, there’s just so many! So here’s our top 5 for you to consider the next time you’re seeking an al fresco beverage. Take our word for it, these patios in Whistler have it all!

A Central Locale
If you like your drink curbside, then BrewHouse is for you! This gastropub stands proudly on the Village Stroll and provides ample people watching opportunity. Tuck into some homemade rotisserie and barbeque classics whilst sampling one or two award-winning ales. BrewHouse is particularly great for families and large groups. The central locale makes this the ideal sunny afternoon lunch spot.

Green With Envy
Located slightly north of Whistler Village, in the Nicklaus North Clubhouse, you’ll find Table 19. It’s the ideal spot to unwind after a day on the links. We particularly enjoy their weekly features: visit on a Saturday, for example, and enjoy Table 19’s delicious ‘Clussels’. It’s their signature dish – a steamed pot of fresh clams and mussels. With views spanning lush golfing greens and Green Lake, Table 19 is one of the patios in Whistler sure to leave your friends back home jealous.

Refined & Sophisticated
One of the highly-regarded patios in Whistler, another firm favourite of ours is The Mallard Lounge & Terrace. You’ll find it located slope-side at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. As well as being a great spot for a bite to eat, The Mallard boasts a fantastic wine list. If you’re after something a little stronger, their famous martini is a must-try! Also, you can enjoy a little acoustic set most days during the summer. In summary, if you’re hiking up on Blackcomb, or find yourself in the Upper Village, be sure to add The Mallard to your itinerary.

Impressive Lakeside Retreat
Nita Lake Lodge offers one of the best patios in Whistler – thanks to its incredible views! Nestled on the tranquil shore of Nita Lake, Cure Lounge & Patio is no exception. Go lakeside and enjoy a fresh take on classic Whistler hospitality. Cure Lounge & Patio work with honest, seasonal ingredients to create the most flavourful dishes. Couple that with the most inventive cocktail list this side of The Great Divide. You’re sure to have a great time on Cure’s patio!

Action-Packed Slopeside Patios
Aptly positioned atop the Whistler gondola building, the Garibaldi Lift Companyboasts the perfect winter location to view skiers as they shred down to the base. Likewise, in summer it’s location is ideal for those exploring Whistler mountain on two wheels. This local favourite offers several mountain-facing patios so there’s no shortage of vista real estate. In addition, they offer an intimate venue for some of the best musical acts to play the West Coast!
