Spring skiing & riding seriously brings it all here in Whistler. From the final few powder days of late winter to bluebird spring days, spring skiing doesn’t disappoint. Once Spring rolls around, we also experience longer days, which means you can skip the 6:00 am alarm. Sleep in and enjoy a good morning coffee and breakfast before heading up the mountain. The past few years, we have all missed out on the magic of Spring skiing due to COVID-19 shut-downs. However, this year, things are looking promising (knock-on-wood)! With COVID-19 restrictions easing in B.C, and the mountain forecasted to remain open until late May, we are hopeful that there will be no shutdowns this year, and that we will all get to enjoy everything Spring skiing has to offer.

Picture this, you start your morning with a walk around the lake, then head up the mountain for some afternoon laps and end your day with a bike ride to the brewery- this is a possibility during Spring in Whistler! In late spring (April to June), the snow is typically melting in the valley, making the Valley Trail easily accessible by foot or bike. In Spring, the snow starts disappearing from the plethora of Mountain Bike and Hiking Trails around Whistler, bringing many bikers out to get their season started.
