With autumn comes the shoulder season and therefore an influx of Whistler dining offers! It’s a fantastic opportunity to experience Whistler’s best eateries and take advantage of some great value menus.

We asked our Spa team: Where will you be booking this shoulder season? Here’s what they had to recommend…
Stacey, Head Therapist
“The fall is a wonderful time to be a foodie in Whistler! Most restaurants have set menus, which feature seasonal produce sourced locally. One of my favourites has to be Alta Bistro. Their shoulder season menu is available Sunday – Friday and includes 3 savoury courses for $39. I visited on a Thursday evening and had the most enjoyable experience.
I can absolutely recommend the Vancouver Island Venison Cassoulet. It’s packed with fall flavours and is a real comfort dish! I didn’t have room for a dessert, however, I couldn’t resist the “Pearfection” cocktail. Remy Martin VSOP and Cointreau mix with pear, vanilla bean and cardamom syrup in what has to be the best cocktail I’ve had in a long time. If you’re looking for Whistler dining offers, Alta Bistro should be top of your list!”
Sarah, Assistant Spa Manager
“I love Japanese food, which is why Sushi Village takes pole position on my list. Their shoulder season menu includes 4 courses for $26 and is available from Sunday to Thursday. Plus, as part of the offer, you can get a jug of Sake Marg for $13!
One of the things that I love about Sushi Village is that they cater very well to groups and even have a special gluten-free menu. I also love the set-up of their restaurant with enclosed booths available and traditional seating arrangements. If you like spice, try the Hot Volcano Roll!”
Marie-eve, Esthetician
“Nita Lake Lodge has a special menu as part of fall’s Whistler dining offers. I went with my partner and loved it. It’s available at Aura Restaurant and is $39 for 3 courses. We added the wine pairing for $29, too.
The choice, the flavours, and the portion sizes were great. I had the vegan Smoked Tomato Soup to start, which was incredible – and for main course, I had the Linguine with Braised Short Rib Ragu. Both dishes were perfect for the colder weather we’ve been having! Top tip: book your table earlier in the evening when it’s still light out. That way you can make the most of Aura’s stunning views.”
Amanda, Head Esthetician
“I thought that all of the Whistler dining offers were dinner-only until a friend of mine recommend lunch at Bar Oso. They offer a daily bocadillo for $8 (don’t worry – I had to Google it too!) A Bocadillo is a traditional Spanish sandwich and Bar Oso do an amazing job at it. Plus, you can add beer or sangria to your order for $4 more.
Bar Oso is a great place to grab lunch in the Village because it’s right on the stroll. Top tip: if you time your lunch right, you can leave Bar Oso and head straight to happy hour at Earls. It’s on every day from 3:00 – 5:00 pm and includes $8 Aperol Spritz – my favourite!”
Hannah, Spa Manager
“This shoulder season, my family and I are hoping to try the prix fixe menu at Il Caminetto. It’s always such wonderful food and I see they’re doing 4 courses for $39 again this year. As far as Whistler dining offers go, this is great value for money and makes a nice treat!
The dish that I’m most looking forward to is the Tiramisu. I’ve had it before at Il Caminetto and it’s so delicious. I also love the cocktails at Il Caminetto and they make an incredible Espresso Martini. Top tip: be sure to book your table in advance as Il Caminietto can get very busy.”
