There are plenty of opportunities to buy souvenirs in Whistler. From novelty shot glasses to local, artisan crafts – there’s a wide range available. Whether for yourself, or for family and friends, here’s our guide to the best places to grab souvenirs in Whistler…
3 Singing Birds
This boutique little retailer has two locations in Whistler – one in Whistler Marketplace and another at Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Their shelves are jam-packed with the trendiest mountain knick knacks from local candles and cosmetics to beautiful illustrations and handmade greetings cards. We love 3 Singing Birds as a great place to grab souvenirs but also as a favourite go-to for gifts too.
Audain Art Museum
The gift shop at the Audain Art Museum is home to a number of unique souvenir ideas, mostly made by local crafters. This includes jewellery, ornaments and children’s toys. We love visiting the Audain because of it’s beautiful setting. The striking architecture provides a pleasing contrast to the lush surroundings. If you have time, we’d definitely recommend a wander around the gallery too!
Maury Young Arts Centre
Another “hidden gem” in Whistler is the Maury Young Arts Centre. Located just off of the Village Stroll, the Centre is home to a number of arts events as well as a little gift shop. It’s a melting pot of local crafts, with several products unique to the Maury Young Arts Centre. They also stock a number of wonderful greetings cards – perfect for any occasion.
Get The Goods
Found in Whistler Creekside, Get The Goods is a treasure trove of great souvenirs, gifts and toys! There is literally something for every budget, taste and occasion. During winter months, the operation expands to include the Creekside Gingerbread House – a chance to do your Christmas shopping AND meet Santa! Add to that free parking in the Creekside Parkade and it makes Get The Goods a must-visit retail experience.
If it’s tees, hoodies or hats that you’re after, McCoos stocks a whole bunch of Whistler-branded apparel. They’re also home to an awesome selection of premium brand items to complement your Whistler adventures. They’ve been a Whistler staple since 1987 and you can find them at one of two Whistler locations. We love their selection of Gogglesocs – the most practical and fun way to protect your lens on the mountain, in transit or in storage.
