From the rice fields of Vietnam to downtown Manhattan, there’s always interesting and exciting places to discover. Consequently, we’ve shared with you The Most Photogenic Hotel and even some Instagram Worthy Wedding Venues. Now journey with us as we reveal five of the best new hotels.
Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski La Habana, Cuba
Situated in the heart of the old Havana, this showstopper has a direct view of the Capitol and the Great Theater of Havana. Furthermore, it lies amidst UNESCO World Heritage sites. Most noteworthy, amenities include a rooftop pool, Tobacco Lounge and luxury spa. Kempinski invites you to: “Experience the first true luxury hotel in Cuba”.
Hotel Emiliano, Rio de Janeiro
The Emiliano describe themselves as “an exclusive hotel, that brings to Rio a new level of sophistication, exclusivity, service and comfort”. They do this by combining a unique and integrated concept of a luxury hotel with a resort beach. Whilst the exterior may be described as peculiar, the interior is nothing short of chic. What’s more, unique features include a Burle-Marx inspired vertical garden, and a rooftop infinity pool overlooking Copacabana Beach.
Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, USA
Described as “Dreamy” by Condé Nast Traveler, the bathrooms of the Waldorf Astoria are particularly worth shouting about. “This is the bathroom of your dreams: spacious, gleaming white/off-white marble and gold accents, and separate tubs and showers. In addition, the 51 suites come with Diptyque amenities, while the other 119 rooms have Ferragamo products.
Probably the quirkiest of our choices, “The TreeHotel has become somewhat of an icon in the world of alternative accommodations,” reports Condé Nast Traveler. The exterior of the main building is fashioned from burnt pine. It sits majestically among the treetops alongside other quirky buildings. Most notably: the Bird’s Nest, the UFO and the Mirror Cube. This gem is ideal for those looking for an adventure, a relaxing break or simply to wind down in nature. TreeHotel invites you to “experience nature in the most unique and memorable way you can imagine”.
Bisate Lodge, Rwanda
Situated in Africa’s Volcanoes National Park, this sub-Saharan resort claims to be the “best location for a holistic gorilla experience in Rwanda”. Operated by Wilderness Safaris, the thatched pods of Bisate Lodge lend themselves beautifully to their African surroundings. However, they reveal nothing of the luxury that awaits explorers within. To summarize, this lodge is authentically African while being super chic. It’ll set you up for a day of jungle adventures and seamlessly welcome you back for an evening of first rate hospitality.
